I'm gounded at the antenna. I use sheilded Cat 5 which is also grounded on both end. I use grounded ethernet surge protector.
But.... Six inch of SB non grounded ethernet cable is an excellent source for hemp. Also, we are getting to winter & had no lightenning since about 2 month. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of shoffman Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2003 9:57 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [smartBridges] Replace or Redeploy ????? Only time I have seen this is when I got an EMP pulse from lightning hitting near by (I assume it was EMP so no args there AND this was before I learned the wonderful world of using shielded CAT5 and grounding the shield.. etc..) Made a short story long.... It only fried the ethernet port... RF port and power worked.
