Hi Rick,
Thank you for your detailed information on the network setup.
Sorry, I missed out your original post and you have clearly mentioned that the ABO is connected at the WAN port of the router. As based on your setup, the aBO is connected at the WAN port of the router and ABO is wirelessly connected to NOC's APPO. With this setup, you can use firmware 0.01.04 onwards. In this scenario, the PC can able to pass the traffic to the internet successfully. Because the router does the NAT between the two network.
Setup : 1 [EMAIL PROTECTED]/24 --> {Linksys LAN=192.168.1.1/24 : WAN=12.172.164.202/24} --> {ABO=12.172.166.202/24} --> {APPO=12.172.164.11/24}
Setup : 2 Actually I was referring to the reverse setup of the airBridge connected behind the router's LAN port. PC ........APPO.......aBO(09.10) __ (LAN)Router(WAN).......Internet With the above setup, you have to use the firmware 09.10 on the aBO.
The intermittent problem, perhaps due to low signal strength between CPE(ABO) and APPO.
Thank you
Kind regards, Seeni sB Tech support

Well, I've got it working again.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]/24 --> {Linksys LAN=192.168.1.1/24 : WAN=12.172.164.202/24} --> {ABO=12.172.166.202/24} --> {APPO=12.172.164.11/24}
Seeni? Does this tell you anything? The PC (192.168.1.45/24) can indeed route to the Internet in this scenario, with the ABO on a different /24.
I'm sending this from that setup.

Seeni,
Thanks for the response. I installed 6 ABO units 2 months ago, the all get updated as you release new firmware, and all have 01.07 firmware in them now. They ALL have Linksys BEFSR41 firewalls, and are all set up exactly the same. LAN is 192.168.x.x and WAN is public IP. Each customer gets two public IP addresses from me. One for the ABO, one for the WAN port on the Linksys. Of these 6 customers, only one has this problem, and it's intermittent. The customer started out working just fine, no problems at all. Then after several weeks the Linksys or ABO seems to have a problem passing traffic, but there is NO problem passing pings. When this problem began on this one customer, I suspected a faulty Linksys. I replaced the Linksys with a new one, and the customer was happy, it worked fine. Then, after several weeks, the problem resurfaced again.
All ABO have 01.07 firmware. I verified this today.
