If you used an RF Linx PCB amp. And it fit inside the smartbidge radio enclosure. Not sure if it will but it could, then you only have to figure out how to power it.
If the SB is 12 volts and you could use a bigger power supply Then maybe with some creative splicing you could do it all in one neat package.

Other wise run a spare 12volt cable up to the amp and put the indoor amp inside a weatherprrof enclosure.
By the way , how far up the tower do you have to go?

Earl,
Does the RF Linx have POE power? I can't seem to find any from them that aren't power over coax....

Amps can be a curse also. The repeater becomes what we call an
alligator mouth. Everyone in 30 mi radius can hear it bit the AP
can't hear the CPE's. So be careful with amps and I recommend RF
Linx. Good price and they have filtering in both the TX and RX side. Earl UpHi.net

Not entirely correct. The amp must be part of a CERTIFIED SYSTEM. A
number
of manufacturers provide same--YDI and others.
