Anyone out there running this setup? If so, could you point me to some
documentation or give me an idea of what i need to use to do traffic
shaping and setup PPPoE server with NetBSD 1.6? I'm 100% comfortable in
Linux using iptables, and had been using HTB for my traffic shaping.
However, it seems that there is no good FREE PPPoE server for Linux, and
I've heard good things about the NetBSD implementation, so I'm
considering going that route. I thought about using Mikrotik, but I'm
familiar enough with what it is doing on the kernel level to setup the
same type of system myself without paying for the RouterOS, although I
would be interested to know what PPPoE server they run on Mikrotik.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Ian
