Using "getting started" at https://github.com/joyent/sdc#getting-started.

Installing in VMware Workstation 11
HostOS Windows 8
Fixed the path error in the windows vmnet setup script from the Lloyd
github repo and submitted a pull request. Looks like the script
doesn't do much but verify that the default virtual networks in
Workstation exist and are unchanged.

During VMware BIOS boot, am getting messages about USB hardware
unavailable but have been disregarding because the USB mounted SmartOS
grub menu is being found.

Install config completed but after reboot defaults to PXE boot (can
that be right?)
If "Live-64" is selected from the GRUB menu, booting fails.
Also tried setting the console variable vid to vga again.

Each time it seems that first there is a stdout
head node initiated reboot
then there is a Joynet graphic with a "headnode wscons login" that
eventually times out

Is this expected or wipe and start over?

TIA,
Tony
