Hi Sam,

Thanks for the response, I do have iLife 08 on my machine, and despite
reports to the contrary one can still get iMovie 06 / HD as a free download,
(I just did it and saved the dmg file to a folder.)

I also have iMovie 06 on the original Apple disk, so one way or another I
should be OK in terms of having a copy of the software.

When I sent the note below I had assumed that when I installed 06 it had
displaced / over written iMovie 08 but it hadn¹t, it turns out that both
versions are on my machine.

So, I am hoping that when I install iLife 09 the same logic will apply and
that I will still be able to install / run iMovie 06.
