try setting a PIN code on it? that should be the first thing it picks up if it 
does log on. I imagine, this being Apple, that the wipe will override anything.

To be honest I doubt anyone would want your data.

Can you see the iPhone's location? that's via GPS, isnit' it? does it require 
3G? 


I wonder if changing the mobile me password at your end would make things 
better or worse?eg if the 'remote wipe' command is rejected becuase the phone 
has the wrong password?

I don't fancy testing all these theories, I'm afraid!
