Hi Sam,
Yes that was what I was afraid of because whatever homework she had will be 
lost.
But maybe that's a good lesson in itself.
As its a G5 iMac, I am presuming it would be no later than Tiger but she 
doesn't know anyway (she's 12 by the way).
I have a copy of Tiger.
