Ok. Going nowhere fast....

Without going into all the ins and outs, does anyone have any
Parallels experience, and willing to lend me the appropriate XP
install discs, preferably including SP3? If not, whatever you've got,
and some experience in getting it to connect online would be great.

It's a brand new MBP, and Parallels 6, and I thought this was supposed
to be plain sailing!! Parallels installs, but Windows just won't, so I
assume the discs are corrupted (they're the originals, with activation
codes.)

I could buy new ones, including SP3 on eBay, but am worried they won't
work either.... any thoughts anyone?

This is actually quite urgent as I start work on Monday and they send
90% of their stuff over in Publisher.

Such a bore.

I couldn't get Parallels Tools to install either!?!

Once again, I don't need to connect online from XP, just the ability
to open Publisher, drag and drop files from Mac to PC and edit in
Publisher before dragging and dropping back from PC to Mac.

Should be easy?!?!

Please help.

(Stuart, thanks, your suggestion looks good on paper, but Parallels
wouldn't let me install Tools so couldn't get it to play ball either.)

I've erased and reinstalled everything 4 TIMES!

All taking just TOO long......
