Hi Ray, My Camera is similar to Sam's, (Canon 40D.) and I love it.
However, when it comes time to replace it, I may well go for something a tad smaller as the old DSLR design is getting a bit long in the tooth now, (Mechanical shutter / flip up mirror etc.) and unless you need the very best, one of the new system cameras bay be more than good enough.
