I'm well aware the language has been updated, I've seen copies of the 1611 printed in some things. And doubt any of us would be able to make much out of the language at that time. lol

But the 5 copies I checked? Weird thing is, all 5  have gaps of years between their publishing dates, and all are published by different publishers.....and without exception, they all said should not.

I thought about getting a NASB after you talked about it before, but found alot of disturbing info on it on the web. It's not all they purport it to be, if half of the info was accurate. Granted, some of it's more than likely not, but I found tons of links.....

While the KJV is widely noted to be one of the most accurate versions in our possiession...... ( spelling ) I'll stick with my KJV. :)

Not really Greg, you’ve just witnessed something the KJV Only crowd isn’t willing to admit.  The KJV has been updated and changed numerous times through the years reflecting more modern scholarship.  NASB uses a literal word for word translation from Greek to English and it uses the word shall as well.  The state of linguistics in 1611 was much less advanced that it is today.
