All I can say is see my previous posts.  I don’t see any percentage in restating everything I said because you came in late (keep with the program will you? <G>).  Seriously, you don’t see how there is any blame for the other person, I don’t see how you guys can’t see that there is multiple layers of blame.

I am sure you wont like this but: IMO, the other woman is not the blame.  THe man still could have said no.  She might be a hussy,(sorry Jen) but she is not the reason the affair started.  It started because Tom allowed it to happen.

Remove the temptation and you remove the potential problem.

Since we are going hypothetical….

Suppose you and Tom love each other, and further suppose you are doing everything right.  You are the perfect wife.

Ok.  Jen (I choose her because she is your sister, and the last person you would expect to poach your man) decides she takes a shine to Tom.  She sets out on a course to seduce/woo/entice (choose your own word) him.  She ultimately succeeds and he cheats.

He’s guilty, and responsible for that action.  No one is denying that, or even saying it isn’t so.

Is she free and clear of blame, or does she have some responsibility in the scenario.  What you seem to be saying is that no, she does not have any responsibility in it at all.

Do only the Man's vows count?

to the man yes    the woman is responsible for her own vows not his   so if she bad mouths him then shes guilty of not honoring him but if he cheats on her hes guilty of adultery

how about this?  if shes bad mouthing him is it his fault she broke the vow of honoring him ?
