I will say this about the life or death situation...I'm glad mom didn't have that option thrown at here when I was born. The doctors told her that I had a 0 to 30% chance of living, and she basically had a 50% chance. I turned out ok despite those odds, and I've been fighting them ever since. :-)

i was aiming more at tubal pregnancy where theres no choice because the baby cant survive and the mother dies if its not taken care of. but yep your mother s a very smart woman :))
