The funny thing about the ticket Neil got yesterday, the cop kept saying he had a device that detected radar detectors and thats how he knew it was in there, but as I said the stupid thing wasnt even plugged in. The cop saw it sitting on the dashboard and turned around immediately and pulled him over. Neil said he was laughing at the cop insisting it had been plugged in and he knew it from a mile down the road. Of course he also said he was scared to tell me about it. I'm wondering if its a good thing that my husband is scared of me, LOL

Makes me want to buy a Phazer radar jammer.

Will a radar detector always warn you when you're under surveillance?

Not necessarily - A basic radar detector won't do you much good if the police officer drives up behind you and turns on the radar gun. The detector will alert you, but by that time, the officer already has all the information he or she needs. In many cases, however, detectors pick up the signal before the speeding car can be tracked. Police often leave their radar guns turned on for a long period of time, instead of activating them after sneaking up behind a car.
