England is a constitutional monarchy and is
definitely a socialist country. Same for Australia. Just because
they are republics or democratic in nature doesn't preclude them from being
socialist.
Even the USSR had a constitutional
democracy.

The head of government is Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, who has been in power since March 2000. Following parliamentary elections, the leader of the majority party or leader of the party coalition is usually appointed Prime Minister by the monarchy with the approval of the Parliament. There is both a judicial and legislative branch in Norway. The legislative branch is only one house, however it does divide itself into two chambers at times and all members are elected.
