I am trying to get a full house 2m thermal glider that does not cost
the earth.
Something that will launch 'outa' sight and max out every round
[ wassamatter? don't you guys have planes like that over there?]
Seriously though, there seems to be a revival of interest in 2m in
some areas of Australia and I am looking for a seriously competitive
full house, ARF 2m model that will take 15-20MPH winds in its stride,
probably all sheeted wing bagged and a bit of carbon for strong
launches.
I started out looking at the 2m Duck and kept on looking when I heard
the price and the availability.
Then I looked at the M&S Models 2M Apex, which looks ideal, but after
several e-mails no response. [Does anyone know how to contact these
guys?]
My list then goes empty- there are the European all moulded models of
course but they are more slope oriented in their section choice and
they usually lack enough wing area to be seriously competitive in
thermal contests.
