Interesting...
When I started working on the LSF tasks I had no inclination to do
any contesting. Once I passed Level II I figured I would see what
this contesting thing was all about. I showed up with my 99" Big
Birdy and actually had fun, even though I was consistently last.
Contesting opened a whole new world for me. I have many friends and
acquaintances from the Soaring community, life would not be complete
without knowing them.
Thanks "Buds" for making it enjoyable. (I would thank many by name,
but this is starting to sound like a eulogy.) You know who you are.

Hey this is EXACTLY how I felt when I started the program. Maybe you'll
change your mind too.
Good luck with the tasks!

I may be the newest LSF applicant. I signed up Sunday........... As for
me, I am going to go as far as I can with what I got.
