Am I wrong, or did this Horizon tech just say it was OK to change
crystals in a transmitter module?

Thank You for your question. You do not have to send your transmitter or

receiver in to have them tuned. With the ABC&W circuitry, it allows us
to
center  tune the equipment to a specific channel. You can in theory go
from
channel 15 to 59 and not have a problem. I recommend no more 20 channels

above or 20 channels below the original channel, and then range check
the
transmitter with the engine running and the engine off. If everything is
ok
after that then you should be set to go. If you have any further
