Brian Smith decended Sunday with a vengence,,,, er I mean a Super V!
Just goes to show that there is plenty of talent hiding in the flat lands of
Tullahoma Tennessee. Brian has been at it for a while (probably psyching us
all out waiting for his opportunity to pounce (or land :-) and really enjoys
competing.
Tied with getting to fly awesome places, flying with guys like Brian is the
best part of my travels. Tullahoma has a couple of contests each year and
their field is huge and full of thermals. Its surrounded by Pine tree
forests and easy to get to off of Hyw 65 or even Hyw 40.
You guys can fly into Nashville, do some sight seeing at the Opry, grab some
Ribs, stop at Hobby Lobby, fly some slope at their Dam, then head down to
fly. Yes there is great soaring between the coasts!
