Now my wife calls and tells me this box from "Laser
Arts" has arrived. What timing. My 2M Gnome may be
put aside so I can complete this. So many people have
praised this plane. She wants me to put in laminate
flooring before I start. Ugh. :-)

On a different note, I wonder what "all wood" means
anymore. I noticed on the picture for the SkyBird,
the wing is on the board being assembled. Looks like
CF on top of the bottom spar. Composite materials are
creeping in everywhere. Personally, I think seeing
the "old" and "new" blend is pretty neat. Kind of
like laminate flooring bringing wood and new materials
together. Somehow I don't get the same feeling about
the floor. :-)
