Well, since i can't unsubscribe, i may as well post.
Sliders are very ergonomic in my opinion you can feel the relative value of
your control throw, Pots you have to look at to see where they are. Sliders
are good for flap trimmers when you have a preset (reflex,camber) on a three
position switch or flight modes whatever, and want to set a landing flap
value. In that case you could program them to limit travel to a
predetermined value or deflection. JR, you know "feel the difference"

I don't use sliders.  For those who do use them, how do you pick the
optimal position? Or do you just end up sliding all the way one way or
another.
