I did a scale Ventus last year, and I spent a lot of time looking at the
full scale documentation.

The ASW-27 is set up like you're describing, if I follow.  As you go out the
wing / aileron, the control surfaces get smaller - the trailing edge is
coming forward, the hinge line stays perpendicular, and it ends up tapering
to about half the initial width.
