Anyone interested in flying their woody on New
Years Day to compete for the longest flight ? No Entry Fee.
Sponsored by Wood Crafters, the pilot with the
longest thermal flight performance in Class A and/or Class B, flown according to
the following rules, will receive a
$50.00 Gift Card redeemable in Sky Bench merchandise only.
Rules:
Must register by email with Ray Hayes by Tuesday 8
pm Central Standard Time, December 30th, 2004
with the following info: name, city and state
where flights will take place (does not have to be city you reside in),
name and email address of timer, declare one or both size classes, you may compete in both size
classes.
Contest open to Woody sailplanes only as described
by Wood Crafters.
Any number of flight attempts, use your longest
flight to record your official flight.
Launch by Hi Start
or electric winch.
Slope flying does not qualify. Thermal flight
only.
No Landing points.
Two size classes, Class A; 100" WS and under and
Class B; 101" WS and over. Any number of controls
allowed.
Offical flight time for each class entered must be
reported by email to Ray Hayes no later than 8 pm Central Standard Time,
January 1, 2004 and
include the name of plane flown and name of timer.
Tied scores will be broken by a coin flip in my
office.
