Tom,
Are you sure?? I did a search on the number
you supplied and came up with this on 3m's web site.
You can see the part number you supplied on that
page, but the 3m ID, is not the -4 you mentioned. The photo is of the new
can, and the MSDS says Acetone in the incredients list.
If I go to 3m.com and search for 62-4437-4930-4, I
come up with this page, which has a different part #.
The MSDS on this part shows and no
acetone.

Subject: RE: [RCSE] So what is the
replacement for 3m77 ?
Thanks Ed,
the UPC Code is 21200 21210. The
numbers I gave are 3Ms formulation ID numbers (suprised the did not
recognize them).
The
UPC code is a much easier way for a supplier to find it, as well as for us
folk. Doubt anyone will stock it under the formulation
ID.
Nevertheless, double check the ID# in fine
print to the left of the UPC code. ...62-4437-4930-4 is the
old formulation and safe for foam. The other is the low VOC and
should state so on the can. as well as a different formulation
ID
Tom
Tom, I just checked with 3M using those
numbers. They had no idea what I was talking about but they did give
me this number and it seems to register with their distributors.
21210. Hope this helps.
