All of the planes mentioned are excellent. I've owned many sailplanes in my 36 years of modeling and truly the best one for you is the one that suits your flying style. If you are a fairly aggressive pilot and like to range, the Icon can't be beat. If you like something that fly's a bit slower, something with more camber will be to your liking. The Graphite looks to be the least expensive while you might need a second mortgage for the Icon, + the long waiting list.
As for servos, the JR series of digitals are top drawer. Actually any of the digital servos will work well. I prefer the JR and MPX digitals myself. gv -----Original Message----- From: Robert Samuels [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, July 09, 2004 12:29 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [RCSE] new plane choice Here's a question that's been asked more than once but won't hurt asking again. I plan to buy a new ship. Choices are great. I'm considering a Tsunami, Graphite, Graphite2, Tragi 705, Stork 2 Pro, Pike, Icon and any others that are in this league. I'd appreciate advice as to which to get, and why. Also which servos are "best". Thanks for the help, Robert Samuels.......St. Louis RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
