I'm using the parts John is talking about in his post. I purchased mine from mouser.com. Very lightweight and easy to assemble, provided you've got the right crimping tool (buy from radio shack).
Molex Crimp Terminal - Mouser # 538-16-02-0098 ($.17 ea) (these are the little female receptacles you crimp onto your wire ends) Molex Terminal Housing - Mouser # 538-50-57-9004 ($.61 ea) (plastic terminal housing that fits over the above terminals) 3M 40 Pin Strip - Mouser # 517-6211TG ($.81 ea) (Break-apart male pin strip) I just bought a load of these for future use. Cheaper than a Dean's connector (i think), lighter, and higher on the geek scale (major bonus!). .. brian r.
