Help, the forward blind nut on my Eraser is stripped. Don't know how that happened, I have been very careful when tightening the screws on the wing. My Shop Theory book tells me that an 8-36 SAE machine screw has a major diameter .010" larger than the diameter of the Metric screws that came with my Eraser. Has anybody had a similar problem and found an easy solution? I am thinking of tapping the blind nut to accept an 8-36 cap screw since the 4.0 metric cap screw does not engage correctly.
