The FUN comes out at 23-25 ounces RTF unless you do something serious to the wings like bag full carbon under the sheeting. That of course would defeat the purpose of One Design.
You are right though, they do fly in fairly light lift when kept light. gv -----Original Message----- From: Bill Swingle [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, September 26, 2005 1:13 PM To: 'soaring' Subject: Re: [RCSE] slope ship question >> One FUN design. Good suggestion. Just keep it light. I'd expect a loading of 8 would be a reasonable goal. Even less would be better if acheivable. Most 60" slope racers fly very well at low wing loadings. Better than what most would expect. Along with ballasted for big wind, too. Their wide range of flyability makes them a wise choice. Bill Swingle RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
