I've used OptiStreams (optistreams.com) satellite on an application
similliar to yours. We have a mobile dish mounted onto a horse trailer
and we pull it up to fire halls to provide training classes over the net
to classes with up to 15 laptops.

We signed up for the lowest bandwidth plan and it meets our needs
($200/month I believe).

The problems we've had are mostly hardware on the satellite going bad.
We've had this system for less than 2 years and have had to replace the
dish twice.

Are you one of those "Minuteman" vigilantes?
