This is a wireless technology users group last time I checked, but I felt
Mr. Maguire's
political opinionizing should not go without a response.

The INS has been woefully underfunded because there has been no political
will to solve
the problem of illegal immigration. So, yes of course they have been
unsuccesful.
The only change that has ever happened in this country has been started by
small groups of motivated
individuals. In the 1770's I'm sure the English Army thought the original
Minutement who helped found this county where 'nuts'.
I guess it just depends on who the writer is. And regarding the
'violence'...I do not recall a single episode of violence
being reported, although I did hear one report yesterday of the Minutemen
helping out one exhausted soul with food, water
shelter and >>gasp<< kindness before handing him over to the grateful INS
agents.

Good luck in AZ Humprey!

Tim McGrath
