I responded because as Chad observed, inspired by Knut Yrvin's presentation on Skolelinux to the European Commission and the decision making process adopted by the Apache Software Foundation I introduced the term on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list: http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=discuss&msgId=1498054 Note: The link to Knut's presentation is now located at: http://europa.eu.int/idabc/servlets/Doc?id=17220

Hopefully we can learn to live together both of you, and all volunteers can be useful and helpful to OOo. If you don't like something, fix it. OOo is a doocracy.
My initial post to the MP list was with the subject "do-ocracy", see: http://marketing.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=16702

Sorry about that, I remember that thread now.
I prefer the term doocracy. It rolls off the tounge better and it has an OO in it like Open Office.
Thanks for the info though. :)
