Ah pffft... Benny Hinn does it all the time. The deities in Star Wars are invisible beings that live inside living beings - like a soul. Maybe George is trying to explain god and the soul. Who knows. The star wars god is everywhere. (at least everywhere living things are, which is all that matters) Jedi can even attain immortality if they are well in tune with the 'force'. It seems that George was trying to give 'god' some sort of semi-physical basis in his 'reality'... This blurs the religious line. ie, if we suddenly discovered that the biblical god was actually an alien or some extra-dimensional life-form, would it still be a god? Would the religion remain? Would it evolve to something like what the jedi call the 'force'? tim -- --------------------------------------------------------- Tim & Therese Fairchild Atchafalaya Border Collies.
