I would too. Now, I understand if the US wants to give extra weight to small states, and that's a perfectly reasonable thing to do. But there are ways to do that without the Electoral College. For instance, you could make it so that one vote in Montana is worth 10 votes in California. So votes from different states have different weights depending on whatever formula the US deems appropriate.
