Various jumper settings have been tested, still with no luck.
As far as I can see, have the other post with the same problem, not got
a solution.
Could this be a faulty board ?

Try setting the HDD jumper to cable-select (as outlined in the HDD
label). Cable-select is probably the safest configuration mode. On
the IDE cable: I would suggest installing the IDE connector with the
red cable to the right (i.e., on the first pin). But I do not think
it will be the source of your problem.
