philippe, what dhcp server, tftp server are you running? what os are you trying to install from?
i was having a problem with dhcp3-server and tftpd, also tftp-hpa. these are from a debian install trying to install debian on a 4511. i then used dnsmasq in debian and everything worked fine. if you look at dnsmasq.conf you will see lots of commentation in it. the debadmin article has the dnsmasq line to uncomment out. i didn't put the server name in it, just the filename. i also used the updated pxelinux.0 from here - http://strugglers.net/wiki/Debian_on_Soekris . i don't know if the debian pxelinux.0 is now working, i just switched it out with the strugglers and it worked. one thing about the default, from debian-installer, take a look at it, you might have to adjust your baud rate as you go. cheers.
