hmmm. the installer give me options only for grub2 or lilo. but have you any idea on how to report it to grub2 developers to have grub2 corrected? i am thinking about future installation, where i want to be on a supported platfor, without deprecated packages. thank you and to Lon Willett for this suggestion, i will try to install the system and then skip boot loader and install grub-legacy manually. this may solve my immediate problem. i will report when i have time to try it.
