There are sound cards available that have multiple input and output ports such as the Delta-44 that is recommended for the SDR-1000 radio. This card is full duplex, you can be inputting and outputting to multiple channels simultaneously. Sure Bob but the Delta-44 price allows you to buy many standard sound cards. In addition of that the present computer have their sound card part of the mother board, so one slot is needed for an extra one (as for the Delta).
