thanks indeed, much appreciated. I have now "doctored" ZoneAlarm,
telling it that that Web site is legitimate, and that it should not
interfere with my attempts to see it.

thanks for you suggestions about the other firewall. But, having
apprehended that it has been bought by Symantec, I placed a big cross
on it... I have been burned too many times by Norton-related
"utilities", and nothing even remotely connected with that name will
ever enter into my house... ZoneAlarm is decently configurable, and it
can persuaded to let you do what you want...:-)
