It arrived yesterday morning, last night I installed XP Pro and Ubuntu
Linux, both are running faster than all my other PCs. It's hard to tell
exactly how much but it seems like quite a bit of a difference.
This weekend I will run two time consuming task (Video Editing, and
Spice simulation) and compare the timing to the older PCs.
The two PC's that were struck by lightning are now back to being fully
functional. Hopefully soon I can stop nursing the PC's and do something
more useful.
