Since the SP1 is a full installer, 2015 has to be uninstalled first before it
can be applied.
We could provide a patch installer that will update in-place.

Please do provide a patch installer instead of this "solution"
and please do make it available publicly to all Softimage users,
not just to the select few on the list who explicitly ask for it
(contact me directly, if you want "easy" access to the si-community)
As Maya has been using patch installs for its SPs,
this "fully exclusive" full install makes no sense whatsoever
and the "why?" would still interest me.
