I'm no longer at work so don't have one in front of me, but iirc you need 
a philips screwdriver to remove the screw at the back end, inside the 
small, open brown square.  Once that's gone, press on the two tabs on the 
sides and towards the back of the case and pull upwards and towards the 
front, and the top (the whole beige part) should come off.  Inside, the 
drive is removed by pulling down on the center tab underneath the case, 
the pulling the drive + metal chasis towards the front.  I'm not sure what 
kind of screws hold the drive in the chasis, they may be star shaped, i 
think there are only four.

There's probably a Sun Doc outlining all the above with pictures too...
