Hi, I am trying to contact an OSI/Qx device using CMIP protocol on a solaris 9 sparc machine. I installed CMIP v9, and I can see the protocol working locally, executing cmipagent and cmipmanager locally.
However, when I use cmipmanager with the address of the remote device (connected directly using a straight cable), I got no answer, and the following error: bash-2.05# ./cmipmanager -n 0x39370f200000800207150901 ./cmipmanager: starting at Tue Mar 1 16:20:37 2005 Performing mp_initialize() Performing mp_bind() Performing mp_get_req() Communication-Error: Communication Problem. No Psel, Tsel, or Ssel (Presentation, Transport, Session). Anyone has any ideas what could be wrong...
