I do : agree that this example should probably be taken out for the time being : (at the least). no, i'm saying that the class NGramTokenizerFactory does not produce instances of NGramTokenizer ... it produces instances of EdgeNGramTokenizer (which is coincidently what EdgeNGramTokenizerFactory does as well) -Hoss
