+1 : 1. Set August 12 as code freeze date. 1 week from today. After which, only +1 : 2. Code Freeze in effect for 5 days for testing of release candidates. +0 ... I'd prefer we spend more then 5 days on this. Both because i think we're missing a lot of docs; and because i have a hunch that when we really start shaking the tree, a lot of weird release packaging quirks/questions are going to fall out since this is the first release to include SolrJ and contribs. But I ain't going to stop you from cutting release candidates :) -Hoss
