20 HEALTH PERSONNEL TRAINED IN WESTERN EQUATORIA Friday, 17 May 2013 14:56 | At least 20 health personnel from all the ten counties of Western Equatoria State underwent a five-day training on the standard based management and recognition programme in Yambio.
Western Equatoria Integrated Service Delivery Program Manager Victor Guma said the training was to improve the quality of health services in all state facilities. Dr. Guma said the participants were taught certain specified methods of hand washing and cleanness in health facilities which are different from the way people do at home. He added that the programme was very important for both health personnel and the communities to minimize risks of getting new infections while visiting health facilities. The participants were asked to draft their work plans to go and train colleagues to improve the standards of service delivery. < Prev Next > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
