 Saturday, 18 May 2013 07:39 |
Members of Western Equatoria State Legislative Assembly are attending
a two-day leadership training in Yambio.

Deputy Speaker Hannah Lona Bona said training the MPs would encourage
them to do their jobs well representing people, Radio Anisa reported.

She urged MPs to participate actively in the workshop to understand
and acquaint themselves with quality service delivery and good
governance.

Ms Lona appealed to the International Republican Institute or IRI Juba
headquarters to support MPs in Western Equatoria State with electronic
materials for further reference and easy communication to the
communities.

IRI facilitator James Lemor expressed readiness and commitment to
support the State Legislative Assembly in capacity building.

IRI organized the yearly training in collaboration with the State
Legislative Assembly.
