So, would a patch that does this be accepted? or would folks rather
see the more flexible all test types have a priority implementation.

Honestly, I'd like to see the immediate problem of AWL running way
before it should and in a random order fixed, with the priority stuff
coming along later.  If a patch that just handles priorities for post
tests, or seperate types in general, is acceptable, I suggest the
current version be applied and the priority stuff added on later.
