I don't think there are that many systems which are both in the line of trusted relays *and* will not fall in either category. Larger installations will have their inbound- and outbound systems separated anyway and likely won't operate mailinglistservers on either one of these in parallel. Obviously the infrastructure via which I receive e-mail is different from yours. However, I can live with the fact that I need to patch out one line of code in SPF.pm if there is no parameter to indicate that the trusted relays don't mess with the envelope sender.
