I thought about something in the line of that too, but unfortunately my 
command of perl is not such that I'm able to actually write code in it. 
Removing the 'offending' piece of code in SPF.pm was easy (by grep'ing the 
source code for the displayed debug message), writing perl is way over my 
head. Sorry... :-(

If I had the choice to 'fix' this in one package (=SpamAssassin) or in the 
many dozens of MTA implementations in common use nowadays, the answer would 
be easy...
