In 2.60, RBL lookups are going to be a *lot* faster.  I should do some
benchmarks vs. 2.55, but you should notice a very nice improvement.

Ewwww.  This is something that really should be solved in your machine
configuration.  I think you could just configure a local DNS server to
forward requests to the appropriate places.

By the way, my last company used Unix just fine for DHCP, etc.  My
sympathies.
